Cam Marston

Expert on Workplace and Marketplace Trends

Cam Marston is an author, radio talk show host, and top-rated keynote speaker on the trends shaping the workplace and marketplace. His presentations are informative, engaging, humorous, and full of concrete research that is tailored to his audience. Cam enlivens the data with anecdotes, tales from the real business world, attention-grabbing visuals, and quips that make the messages and actionable strategies memorable.

In 2018, Cam began a podcast that was soon picked up as an FM radio show titled What’s Working with Cam Marston. Cam interviews a wide range of expert guests to learn about the trends influencing their workplace, workforce, and marketplace, and how they are successfully reacting to them. He has now broadcast over 200 episodes and released his fifth book, What’s Working with Cam Marston: The Ten Best Ideas from the First 200 Episodes.

Cam also records commentaries for Alabama Public Radio called Keepin’ It Real. They’re his humorous and inspirational observations of the world around him and have won both statewide and national awards. You can find both his radio show and his commentaries on your favorite podcast app. The commentaries have recently been converted into short, subscription-based videos to be used as inspirational and motivational weekly training content for the workplace.

Cam’s perspectives have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Investment Advisor, the Chicago Tribune, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Money, and Forbes, as well as on Good Morning America and the BBC. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University and is a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama. This is Cam’s seventh year with MLA.

Frank Hugelmeyer

President of the National Marine Manufacturers Association

Frank Hugelmeyer is the President of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. He started this role with the transition period beginning in July 2019 and officially took the helm October 1, 2019.

Hugelmeyer comes to NMMA from the RV Industry Association (RVIA), where he has served as president since 2015. He has led the RV industry with a focus on market development and strengthening of the industry-wide consumer campaign, Go RVing; directed robust advocacy policy initiatives spanning the international, federal and state levels; and, established broad coalitions across the outdoor recreation sector, including the Outdoor Recreation Roundtable. RVIA represents the $50 billion RV industry with a membership of 400 manufacturers and component and aftermarket suppliers that produce 98 percent of all RVs made in the U.S.

Prior to RVIA, Hugelmeyer was president and CEO of the Outdoor Industry Association for 14 years. He was instrumental in growing the trade group’s focus on advocacy, consumer trends, business innovation and B2B education.

David J. Friedman

Luke Carlson

Founder and CEO | Discover Strength

Luke Carlson is the founder and CEO of Discover Strength based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. Discover Strength owns and operates strength training studios as well as the Discover Strength Franchise. Luke speaks around the world on leadership, management, and evidence-based exercise. Luke is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist and has a BS and MS in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and graduated from the Executive Leadership, Strategy and Innovation program at Stanford University. He received an Honorary PhD from Solent University in Southhampton, England. Luke has presented to audiences in a variety of industries in China, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, and across both Europe and North America.  Carlson is one of the top-rated Vistage speakers in North America and won the 2022 Vistage Leadership Award. 

Dave Nelsen

Dave Nelsen, an engineer by training, believes that today, every company is a technology company. Dave has more than 35 years of communications experience and has been at the leading edge of the social media revolution since founding TalkShoe.com in early 2005. He’s been recognized as Entrepreneur of the Year (2000) by Ernst & Young, as Speaker of the Year (2011) by Vistage Worldwide, and as TEC Canada Top Speaker (2018).

Connor Lokar
